Roshi (武天老師, Rōshi) is a fictional character in the Dragon Ball franchise. He makes his debut in the 2009 film Dragonball: Evolution, the first of a purported three installments of 20th Century Fox's live-action film series. He is an adaptation of Master Roshi, the inventor of the Kamehameha technique in Akira Toriyama's franchise, and is portrayed by Chow Yun-Fat.

Roshi is the former student of Master Mutaito, the martial artist responsible for sealing Piccolo away for centuries. In Dragonball: Evolution, he accepts Goku as his pupil.

- "When talking about the film, the Colombian said that he had read the script many (times), but not to their role. As for the Johnnie To invite him to perform foreign film, he said that the script is still being repeated changes in order to balance the tastes of East and West."[1]
