Part 2 Keshi Saibaman red figurine

In the late 80's, a series of miniature quarter-priced rubber machine toys was released, much like the Ultimate Muscle series and coming in randomized colors. They are known as Dorakeshi Keshi-Gomu and are rather hard to come by. All characters in this set came in a random color and all of them were very tiny and immobile. A Saibaman appears once in this miniature set, although the same mold appears in numerous colors, such as red, green, blue, or tan. The mini rubber figurine comes with both hands to his sides and a smile on his face. This miniature Part 2 Keshi set has included a few of the characters from the Vegeta Saga (also known as the Saiyan Saga) and some characters from the King Piccolo Saga. The Saibaman is included in the part 2 set. One of Bandai's Keshi series, it has included characters such as King Yemma, Chi-Chi, King Kai, Piccolo, a Saibaman, King Piccolo, Nappa, Launch, two variants of Gohan (one from the cover art), Goku, Vegeta, Master Roshi, Bubbles, and an older Upa for a total of 15 pieces.

The "Full Color Series" was another highlight of Bandai's sets that included a pair of Saibamen in the roster. Released in March 2005, the Saibamen in this set were modeled with unique stances, one protruding from the ground in a tight hug as the other stands firm with a distinct smile. This pair of Saibamen is a unique mold and features one as it tightly hugs itself and is emerging from the ground as the other holds a pouncing stance, ready for battle. Both pieces are slightly attached to each other as the emerging Saibaman is connected to the standing one by its leg. The details are heavily kept intact even for miniature pieces. Other characters included in this miniature series were Bardock, Bulma, Super Saiyan Kid Trunks, Super Saiyan Broly, Super Saiyan Majin Vegeta Super Saiyan Goku, Gogeta, and Super Saiyan adult Gohan.

The Imagination Series Part 4 was released by Bandai in 2005 and has included Vegeta along with four additional Saibamen encircling him. The diorama set features the scene where the Saibamen are set loose. Vegeta is shown in a confident and determined stance with his arms crossed as the Saibamen each maintain a different posture. One of the Saibamen is still in the ground, only its cranial structure being seen as another is half-way out of the ground, still tightly gripping itself in a hug. The other two are also unique, one nearly out of the ground and the last one has already emerged with a serious expression across its face. Other pieces included in this same Imagination Part 4 set are Bulma with Oolong, Gohan striking Super Buu, Vegeta managing to climb into his space pod as Krillin watches, Super Saiyan Vegito with a mist of aura surrounding his body, and Super Saiyan Goku staring back at a halved and levitating final form Frieza.

The Imagination Series Part 9 was released by Bandai in September 2006 and has included Krillin launching his deadly Kakusan Ha technique against a repertoire of Saibamen. The diorama portrays the Saibamen being struck with enormous energy as Krillin unleashes a massive combination of powerful blasts, each being slammed into the ground and obliterated as a result of the explosion. Other pieces included in this same Imagination set are Super Saiyan Vegeta slamming into Semi-Perfect Cell using his foot in midair, Piccolo taking the brunt of an attack directed at Gohan, Vegeta and Goku in their scuffle on Earth, King Kai watching as Goku attempts to catch Bubbles , and Super Saiyan 3 Goku uppercutting as he reveals his Dragon Fist attack while the dragon enshrouds the area around him.

The Chara Puchi releases by Bandai were not limited to the phone strap series. In 2006, there's also a mini figure set that was released and incorporated plenty of characters from the series run. In this set, all the characters came sitting on top of a mini Dragon Ball or another item (such as a space pod). A Saibaman came sitting on a Dragon Ball and with a miniature base. Others included in this set and also sitting on Dragon Balls are Zarbon, Dodoria, second form Frieza, Nail, Goku, Kid Gohan, Krillin, Oozaru Vegeta (on top of space pod) and Raditz (on top of space pod). Also, the initial releases of these mini-figurines came with a small piece of candy.

Bandai has released a special edition Soul of Hyper Figuration series entitled "Super Modeling Zero Zero", which included two additional pieces: a Saibaman and Super Saiyan Goku in a force ki push posture. The Saibaman stands in a basic stance, both hands in a feral position as he maintains a battle stance with his legs spread apart and he is seen preparing to pounce. Released in 2006, the two-figurine set was a special edition exclusive to the Soul of Hyper Figuration series. The Saibaman piece remains one of the rarest of all the Soul of Hyper Figuration scale releases.

There has been a chibi set released in 2008 by Bandai entitled "Imagination Figure," incorporating numerous popular scenes from the series. These figurines stand at about 5 cm (2 inches) and two Saibamen come behind Vegeta. The chibi figurines are made in a more cute style and showcase the three antagonists in a memorable scene. Vegeta is seen with an arms-crossed posture as the Saibamen both emerge from the ground. Other pieces in this set include Frieza with Zarbon and Dodoria, Super Saiyan Goku staring at a final form Frieza, a younger Goku on Shenron, and two versions of Piccolo and Goku in red and yellow racecars.

Bandai has also released a Super “Deformation” series in 2008 with the figurines standing at about 5 cm. The Saibaman in this set stands at about 1.75 inches and comes in a pouncing stance, standing upright and maintaining his hands in an open posture. His facial reaction is that of a wicked smile as he stares to the side. The black round base of the figure reads the character's name, which in this case is spelled "Saibaiman" and allows for the mini figurine to stand on top of it. Others included in this same set are Raditz, Vegeta, Korin, Piccolo, Krillin, Nappa, Yajirobe, Goku, and Gohan.

Another release by Bandai is the Chara Puchi Phone Strap series in December 2008. The figurines in this set stand at about 4.5 cm and a pair of Saibamen are included in this set (Part 7 of the initial complete series), both in a pouncing and vicious stance as they are seen hopping around with vicious joy. All the figurines included in this set come with mini Dragon Balls dangling alongside their chains, which are intended to be used as phone straps or for other attachment accessories. The Saibamen's Dragon Ball is the 6 star ball, whilst the other characters come with another numeric, completing the full set. Others included in this set are Goku, Nappa, Piccolo, Vegeta (two versions), Kid Gohan with sword, and a Great Ape Gohan.

Bandai released its Part 22 set in September, 2009. This set included Super Saiyan Gohan (from History of Trunks), Goku, Vegeta, Super Saiyan 3 Goku (two variants, one gold and one base color), a pair of Saibamen, and Nappa, who were all packaged in the basic gashapon bagging. Aside from having unique stances, both Saibamen come with a miniature transparent stand in order to perfect their deadly appearance. All the details are exquisite on these pieces, including their specifically vicious expressions, one in a screaming reaction with hands thrust up and the other preparing to pounce, the overall paint job being extremely on the mark. Since these were gashapon figures, they are individually sealed in their plastic Dragon Balls.

The Real Works series are some of the most highly detailed for a collectible series at a basic scale. Most figurines in this set have seen numerous re-releases. Originally released on October 12, 2009, pieces featured in this Dragon Ball Kai Volume 8 set are Nappa, Raditz, Turles Vegeta, Goku and Kid Gohan with a Saibaman. The Saibaman figurine in this set comes packaged with a Kid Gohan and features a very nice feral stance, maintaining both his hands in open positions as he stares to one side. Gohan is seen in a determined battle-ready stance as his hands are kept waist-high and his feet are spread apart. These pieces also come with an orange base to stand on, signifying that they are from this specific Real Works set.

Quick Change Figure Vegeta and Super Saiyan Vegeta with Saibaman

These highly detailed figures were produced by Bandai and released in 2008, standing at 4 inches as a part of the Quick Change Figure Series, the packaging holding a similar pattern as the Ultimate Collection series. Vegeta comes with his Super Saiyan state, having two inter-changeable heads and two sets of battle armor. Additionally, Vegeta comes with a Saibaman piece in this package. These same pieces would be re-released as a part of the "Pack Evoluction" set in 2011. Also included in the Quick Change Figure Series is Goku with Super Saiyan Goku as a quick change figurine.

This package released by Bandai is entitled "Pack Evolucion Dragon Ball" and is assortment number 34410. Underneath the primary title of the set, the details describe the contents as "Quick Change Figures Pack" and above the boxed figures the description says "Get Up to 12 Different Figures with the Accessories!" The packaging includes Goku and Vegeta as well as their switch-able Super Saiyan counterparts. Also included in the set is a miniature Saibaman piece that is modeled after the 2008 Deformation Saiyan Invasion series piece. The figurine does not have the same base but rather, has a black base without any writing along the front. Aside from this, the mold remains very similar to the Deformation piece released earlier. The package includes numerous accessories for both Vegeta and Goku. Goku comes with two different Gi outfits and two switch-able heads, one basic and one Super Saiyan. Vegeta comes with his original battle armor and a second set of battle armor that he later wears. He also comes with two switch-able heads, one basic and one Super Saiyan. This piece was a Bandai release for the international market.

The first Unifive SofVi figurines (5" scale) from series 5 of the Banpresto UFO catcher line of figures was originally released in 2004. These figures come bagged with miniature tags depicting their series numeric and are immobile as their feet do not turn and the articulation is limited. However, the initial paint job and design is remarkable. The Saibamen came packaged with an open-front packaging along with the others from the set (King Kai, Vegeta, Nappa, and Goku). The Saibamen are very hard to come by but are especially well-designed in their own unique postures, one as it is seen protruding from the ground in a tight hug as the other wears a wicked smile and prepares for battle. These are the closest likeness at a 5-inch scale offered by Banpresto for Saibamen.

Following the initial releases, Banpresto also released a highly detailed Vegeta with three Saibamen as a keyring set in 2007. The figure stands at approximately 4 inches tall. Also included in this keychain assortment was King Kai with Bubbles, Raditz, Goku, and Nappa. The Vegeta comes with his arms-crossed posture as the Saibamen are seen emerging from the ground, with only one of them having its eyes open. The figures still have an airbrushed paint job.

Another interesting set of figures was released as a part of the Pose Collection Series. Volume 1 has included Vegeta along with three Saibamen encircling the ground around him. All three Saibamen are still emerging from the ground as they maintain a tight hug position. Vegeta himself holds an arms-crossed posture and is seen wearing his red scouter. Additionally, the ground base seems to be shattering as a result of the Saibamen emerging. The Pose Collection features a very unique boxed packaging, having a large bubble for the package itself and a unique backboard with images of Piccolo, Goku, Super Saiyan Goku, Vegeta, and Shenron.

Banpresto released DWC series Volume 1 with a Saibaman in February, 2009. This figure (also standing at 6 cm) comes packaged in a mini-box and displays the featured character in front of the box and others in the same set on the side panel of the box. It is listed as collectible number DBZ008 and is from vol. 1. This Saibaman comes with both hands lowered to his sides and a wicked smirk on its face. The figure also comes with a red base to stand on. Others included in this same volume 1 set are Yamcha, Raditz, Goku, Nappa, Piccolo, Gohan, and Vegeta.

Banpresto has also released a few characters exclusively as a “Dragon Ball Kai Creatures Head Keyholder” set in April, 2009. They are basically large-scale heads of some characters which are featured as keychains. The Saibaman in this set is rather menacing, with eyes completely red and his sharp teeth highly pronounced. There's a great deal of detail on his cranial structure as well as his head is split open, revealing the plant-like substance inside, likely being a prelude to his devastating acid attack. Others included in this same Creatures Head keyholder set are Frieza in his third form, Imperfect Cell, and Porunga.

Another of Banpresto's HQ chain sets, This keyring series is a unique one. As a Dragon Ball Kai series release, it features a Saibaman in a tight hug hold as it appears to be rising from the ground, Piccolo re-growing his lost arm, Vegeta raising his arm up as he prepares an attack, Goku charging his Spirit Bomb, and King Kai with his hands behind his back. These pieces are a rather unique set for collectors and make for a great keyring series installment with this new feature, allowing the pieces to be squeezed.

The Banpresto DWC vol. 1 includes a Saibaman as collectible number DBKai008 in the Kai re-release miniature series and was released in November, 2009. The figure comes in the same posture as its original release. These figurines come boxed and in their own authentic case with the character image in front, as do all the other figurines in this set. The Saibaman stands at 6 cm and is the second variant of this character to be released in this set. This version, unlike the original release, is colored with a metallic style. The boxart is slightly different, having a blue outline rather than a red one. Others included in this same volume 1 Kai variant set are Yamcha, Raditz, Goku, Nappa, Piccolo, Gohan, and Vegeta.

The box packaging is very unique and is designed for this set, capturing the essence of these characters.

In 2010, Banpresto released a Saibaman collectible in the form of a keychain and figurine displaying him charging an enormously spark-engulfed self-detonating explosion in which the Saibaman pulls off its devastating maneuver to take down their enemy. The piece is extremely unique as it portrays sparks of rays flying through its cranial structure and torso, igniting a savage and brutal explosion as witnessed through the model. This piece was included with the Dragon Ball Kai releases as the keychain sets. Others included in this same volume 1 set are Vegeta, Piccolo, Frieza, and Goku.

Released in December, 2011, the Ichiban Kuji set included a Prize D which was a set of 4 different rubber magnets. Characters included in this set are Chiaotzu as he is sacrificing himself (red backboard), a Saibaman as he is performing his self-destruct (green backboard), Majin Buu flying in midair (purple backboard), and one of Gotenks' Kamikaze Ghosts (blue backboard). The rubber magnets come in a nice packaging bubble and the Prize D emblem on the front.

This Saibaman miniature released by Banpresto resembles a board game series figurine similar to those released by Bandai. There are many of these Saibamen packaged together and make a nice board game addition as playing pieces. In 2004, MegaHouse also released a Chess Piece Collection. The Saibaman in this set stands at about 6 cm (2 inches). Unifive's Mini Figure series modeled as Kubrick-style figurines is composed of numerous Dragon Ball Z characters, including Vegeta. This basic figurine comes with his original battle armor. The figurines are modeled in a cute manner and are very similar to Lego and Kubrick pieces and other figurines of that caliber in terms of modeling. Vegeta comes along with a Saibaman as an accessory piece. Others included in this same Volume 3 set are Frieza in his final form, Goku with Yardratian outfit, Super Saiyan Goku, Piccolo, Kid Gohan, Future Trunks, King Kai, Captain Ginyu, and Super Saiyan Vegeta.

A pair of Saibamen have made an appearance in Banpresto's Goku Daikessen Part 2 Unifive posing set released in February 2005. Standing at approximately 3 inches, they are modeled to look deadly and ferocious as well as given a more sharp and sleek look. The Saibamen are seen with multiple joints and have better articulation as these pieces, much like previous releases and future installments. Also included in this set is Majin Vegeta, Dabura, Pikkon, Super Saiyan Goku with a Halo, and Goku with a Halo.

Plex has released an assortment of basic figures in the "Mini Big Head" style. Released in February 2008, the assortment, entitled "Anime Heroes" has a wide variety of characters, the Saibaman being number 10 of the set. This mini figure comes with the Saibaman slightly sliding on the ground, one leg in front and the other bent as he remains battle-ready and goes for a rather adorable yet wicked look. The figurines in this set stand at about 4.5 cm (1.7 inches).

Plex has also released a Chibi Figure series with "Mini Big Head" figures in 2009. A Saibaman was released in this set performing his Acid technique, with a trail of deadly oozing liquid spewing from his cranial structure as the creature maintains a feral position with a wildly wicked laugh.

Plex has also released a Chibi Figure series with "Mini Big Head" figures in 2009. This series, entitled the "Ultimate Technique" due to the attack stances the figures come in, is a chibi series displaying numerous techniques the characters have portrayed in the series. Yamcha was released in this set as he is obliterated by a Saibaman's devastating self-destruct attack, having a shining light erupting behind him as the ferocious Saibaman illuminates the scene with a neon green glow.

Later, this mini figurine of a Saibaman sitting on a Dragon Ball originally released by Bandai saw a re-release by SenSei in a series called "Dragon Ball Z Budokai Scouter"and the set is entitled "Z Warriors Minitoys." Included into the round base was a paper that showed the character's name around it and the collectible number attributed to it. The Saibaman is number 15 in this set.

Released in May, 2000, the Crazy Bones addition to the Dragon Ball franchise has brought a nice repertoire of characters in this miniature format. GoGo's Crazy Bones (also referred to as Crazy Bones or GoGo's) are small collectibles that became popular during the 1990s and 2000s, produced by Spanish company Magic Box Int. and additionally by PPI Worldwide Group, which remains the only distributor in North America. They are named crazy bones due to the craze revolving around the collection of these pieces. The Dragon Ball Z set spans the Saiyan/Vegeta saga debacle as well as the Namek Saga conflict and has 40 pieces in the set. Each figurine comes in a multitude of colors and designs but remains the same sculpt. A Saibaman is included in this set as a full-body piece and is number 15 of this set.

A miniature rubber set released by Cremino comes with chocolate flavored candy. All four major sagas in the series have been released in this format, including the Vegeta Saga, Frieza Saga, Cell Saga, and Majin Buu Saga. A Saibaman appears twice in this mini-wrapped set. His first model appears with both his hands to his sides with his feet spread apart. There are a wide variety of characters included in this mini set. The packaging reads "Juguete" which means "Toy" and the details read "Golosina Sabor A Chocolate," which translated means "Chocolate Flavored Candy." The Toei Animation logo is also present on the wrapping. The miniature figurines are produced in three colors, blue, yellow, and green.

There are a wide variety of characters included in this mini set. The miniature figurines are produced in numerous colors, which in the case of this specific Saibaman piece, is available in bronze along with numerous transparent hues.

A Prototype Saibaman was planned by Irwin Toy before the company officially declared bankruptcy, handing over the rights for later releases to Jakks Pacific. Other figures included in this un-released series are Battle-Damaged Zarbon, Battle-Damaged Recoome, Guldo, final form Frieza, and Goz. The Saibaman figure stands at nearly 3-4 inches tall and is seen in a feral stance as he prepares to pounce on his opponent. This set remains unreleased but is highly sought after due to the collectible value and initial design of the early prototypes.

Another recent release portrays a Saibaman bust and upper torso piece. This Saibaman has a ravenous and vicious expression with piercing red eyes and a wicked smile crossing its face. Additionally, the base features a very unique ground matter which seems to be rising around the Saibaman as a result of its emerging from the ground itself. This is crafted very well for a bust piece and features a unique mold. The statuette is approximately 4-5 inches in height.

Another recent release portrays two Saibamen alongside Nappa and Vegeta in a statue diorama set. Here, Nappa stands beside Vegeta along with two Saibamen under them. One Saibaman is crawling out of the ground as the other is in a fierce animal-like posture. Vegeta maintains an arms-crossed posture and remains silent as Nappa is portrayed preparing his Exploding Wave technique. The detail here is excellent and the ground base remains a grass field, where the battle took place. The base under Nappa and Vegeta detaches, allowing for the characters to come together and form the diorama while also allowing for each piece to be witnessed separately. The Saibamen are included as a part of Vegeta's base, which can also be attached to Nappa's portion of the ground.

Another recent release portrays a Saibamen as it attempts to evade an attack launched by Krillin, who stands atop a rock base. The Saibaman is seen scurrying on the ground and jumping to dodge the oncoming massive strike unleashed by Krillin. This is a depiction of the scene where Krillin prepares to reveal his Kakusan Ha technique and take down the Saibamen. It is interesting to note that Krillin stands atop the base as the Saibaman is crafted as a part of the lower portion of the base, signifying its rapid jump attempt.

This Saibaman is on par with the AB Groupe Super Guerriers and Irwin's Saga Continues pieces in terms of its height. It was released in France and has a unique mold. It features the Saibaman with its hands being raised slightly as it holds a smile and stands firm. The piece stands at approximately 5 cm high.
