Saturday Crush (サタデークラッシュ) is an energy sphere attack used by Raditz.

Overview

Saturda Crush2

Raditz fires the attack in the manga

Raditz holds his right hand high in the air and forms a pink energy sphere that he fires off at the opponent, inflicting a great amount of damage.

Raditz used this attack during his battle with Goku and Piccolo. While Piccolo charged his Special Beam Cannon, Goku fired a Bending Kamehameha down at Raditz. Raditz, however, neutralized the blast with his own ki and then fired the Saturday Crush up at Goku, striking him down to the ground.

Appearances in games

Saturday Crush was named in the Budokai series and Dragon Ball Heroes. It appears under the name Here's a present! (プレゼントしてやる!) in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3, the Raging Blast games, Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi and Dragon Ball Z For Kinect. Raditz can also use the technique in Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z, where he can use it as his one of his unique attacks under the name Here's a Present for You!, his Blast Spark is a weaker yellow version of the technique.

Variation

  • Shining Friday: A more powerful electric version of the Saturday Crush used by Raditz to try to kill Gohan. In Xenoverse, Raditz uses it differently creating an energy sphere from his palm to attack nearby enemies.
  • Saturday Crash: A more powerful version of the Saturday Crush in Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit and Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World and is one of Raditz's ultimate attacks. In Dragon Ball: Xenoverse, less powerful but can paralyze opponents and is one of Raditz's Super Skills.
  • Vacation Delete - A stronger, explosive version of the Saturday Crush that can paralyze opponents. Used by Raditz as an Ultimate Skill in Dragon Ball: Xenoverse.
