Meanwhile, Tien Shinhan, Krillin, and Yamcha ask Master Roshi why he is not teaching them anymore. Roshi explains to them that he has nothing more to teach and that they should seek training on their own.

Korinto leads Goku to Yaochun and he asks him for a fight. It turns out that Yaochun is not the man Goku wants to meet, as he is beaten by Goku easily. Goku meets up with Korinto again who teaches Goku how to fish by feeling the river, sharpening his concentration skills. It would appear that this is the man that Goku was supposed to meet in the first place.

Trivia[]

  • Yaochun had a voice filter effect in the original English version, but the remastered version removed the filter.
  • In the Japanese version, Roshi tells Tien, Yamcha, and Krillin that they will never reach Goku's level, and yells at them for doing the same training routine together each day, unlike Goku who continued his journey alone.
