Sonic Rush is a rush attack used by Future Gohan.

Overview

Future Gohan starts the attack by kicking his opponent away. He then teleports behind them and does a right-hand chop, followed by a right hook then a right sweep kick. Future Gohan finishes the rush attack by kicking his opponent high in the air then knocking them back down with a right elbow, inflicting a great amount of damage.

Future Gohan used parts of this attack during his battles with the future Androids in the alternate timeline. Future Gohan used this attack's kicks and right-hand chop during his brief fight with Future Android 17 in Super World, while during his final fight with the duo, he used this attack's finishing elbow on Future Android 18 after dodging her attack from behind, following by slamming her into a building by her leg.

Video Game Appearances

Sonic Rush was named in Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 where it appears as one of Future Gohan's Super Skills.[1]

"Performs a gap-closing charge then attacks. This technique is useful against distant enemies. If the first attack connects, it is followed with a damaging knockback attack."
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Tutorial description

As part of the Masters Pack DLC, the Future Warrior (Xenoverse 2) can learn this skill by completing School Quest: "Lesson 1" of Future Gohan's Training. Interestingly, it is referred to as Future Rush in the plot description of Lesson 1, despite the Skill being listed as Sonic Rush in the Lesson's Basic Reward section.[2]
