Added by Jeangabin666Southern Continent[1] is an island located in the far south section of the Earth, west of Papaya Island and north of Amenbo Island. It is where South City, Yajirobe's Prairie, Kiwi Volcano, as well as Android 19 and Goku's battle site, are located.

Added by Jeangabin666Goku, Yamcha, Puar, and Krillin visit a back country town with Wild West style on the northeast part of the Southern Continent in order to get a new Turtle School uniform for Goku. Yamcha bribes Tailor Ford to have it done in an hour, while Goku brings Upa in the town. When they get the uniform, Goku changes in the street, and then they leave the town for Fortuneteller Baba's Palace.[2]
In the movie Dragon Ball Z: The World's Strongest, Dr. Kochin mentions a vast forest area near South City, on the southeast part of the Southern Continent, that he and Dr. Wheelo turned into a wasteland in a flash using some of Dr. Wheelo's "brilliant scientific techniques".

Added by Jeangabin666In Age 767, after a large area of Sasebo was turned into a wasteland by Android 20's Bionic Punisher lasers, Goku leads the Androids to the Southern Continent where he fights Android 19. When Goku was about to lose the battle due to his Heart Virus, Vegeta arrives and destroys Android 19. Soon, Android 20 flee the area and goes to the Northern Mountains, followed by the Z Fighters.

The Southern Continent was named in Dragon Ball Z: The Legacy of Goku II. Enemies encountered here are the Tiger Bandit Gang, ladybugs, scorpions, snakes, and T-Rex. It is the location of Goku's and Vegeta's battles against Android 19, as well as the location of the Piccolo vs. Android 20 battle.
The area where Goku and Vegeta fought the androids on the Southern Continent is a battle stage called Rocky Area in Dragon Ball Z: Buyū Retsuden.
Trivia
