The Spindletop Flats are an unusual area on the Earth that has hoodoos, which are large rocks balancing over small spots, staying still.

Spindletop Flats is seen and mentioned by Bulma in the Dragon Ball Z episode "Piccolo's Plan" ("Gohan's Hidden Powers" in the edited version), when her, Master Roshi and Krillin are traveling from Kame House to Spinach Wastes. Donkeys are shown to live in this area.

Spindletop Flats is one of the starting spaces in an old Dragon Ball Z board game, where the player can start if playing as Chiaotzu.
