Spread Shot Retreat is an evasive Energy Barrage technique used by Goku, Gohan, Krillin, Vegeta, Bardock, and many other fighters in the Dragon Ball Xenoverse series.

Overview

An evasive technique where the user fires ki blasts while moving backwards. It allows the user to put some distance between the user and their opponents while attacking at the same time preventing their opponent from following.

Gohan uses the technique to escape Super Buu's Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack.

Krillin uses the move while retreating from Frieza's soldiers in Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’.

Variations

Appearance in games

Spread Shot Retreat was named and first appeared in Dragon Ball Xenoverse as an common Evasive Skill used by Krillin and several other fighters. The Future Warrior can learn this skill during Krillin's Training as the Warrior's Master.

In Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, it returns as a common Evasive Skill used by several characters. Additionally it can also be used by Copyman and Ramon. The Future Warrior (Xenoverse 2) can obtain the skill as a reward in Parallel Quest 28: "Legendary Super Saiyan".[1]
