Stunning Youngsters! No. 18's Uphill Battle (チビッコ恐るべし！！大苦戦の１８号 Chibikko Osorubeshi! Dai-Kusen no Jūhachi-Gō, lit. "What Incredible Kids!! The Great Struggles of No. 18") is the one-hundred-eleventh episode in Japan and the one-hundred and eighteenth episode internationally of Dragon Ball Z Kai. Its Japanese air date was June 29, 2014. Its American air date is May 20, 2017.
Summary
Inside Babidi's spaceship, Dabura enters the meditation room and continues to raise his ki in preparation for battle. At the World Martial Arts Tournament grounds, an intense battle unfolds between Android 18 and "Mighty Mask". Inside the Mighty Mask costume, Goten and Trunks transform into Super Saiyans and unleash a formidable Big Tree Cannon. Having seen through their identity, Android 18 launches a Destructo Disc which cuts "Mighty Mask" torso in half. With it revealed that they were two people fighting as one, Goten and Trunks are disqualified as teams are forbidden in the Tournament and Goten and Trunks are forced to flee.
Trivia
- Strangely, in the international version of the episode, Trunks and Goten are seen removing of their Mighty Mask costume after they have escaped from the World Martial Arts Tournament despite being seen removing their disguise at the tournament and fighting Android 18 before getting disqualified. This scene edited in the Japanese airing by being replaced by a prolonged still frame for a few seconds before they meet Videl.
