Television, more commonly called TV, is a type of technology used for transmitting and receiving images, either in black or white, or in full color. In the Dragon Ball universe, TVs are used just as they are in the real world, and come in many different types and sizes. They are used for entertainment and media, most notably in the series is ZTV, a news station that broadcasts the TV show KBC News. Other channels in the series include AHO TV, RMT, OBC,[1] NBS News, CQ TV, NMT, NNS,[2] KTV, and ZZTV.

The most commonly seen TV in the series is the one on Master Roshi's island, Kame House. Master Roshi's favorite Television program is "Wide-Thigh Aerobics"[3] which features women doing aerobic exercises. In one instance, while Roshi was at Training Island with his students, Arale Norimaki can be seen on his TV.[4]

When Cell became perfect, he accounted the Cell Games over a news broadcast, that Krillin and others also watched at Kami House.

The TV in the Devil's Castle is seen broadcasting a program which features Lucifer's servant Igor in Dragon Ball: Sleeping Princess in Devil's Castle. Android 15 and Android 14 are seen in a TV shop while searching Goku in the city in Dragon Ball Z: Super Android 13!. King Kai owns a TV he used to watch X.S. Cash's Intergalactic Tournament in Dragon Ball Z: Bojack Unbound and Goku's fight against Janemba in Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn.

In Dragon Ball GT, Pan is seen watching an episode of a TV show called Happy Dog. On the show we see a dog running across a field. Later, during the Super 17 Saga, a news program reports the arrival on Earth of the villains who have escape from Hell.
