Tanger is a member of
Dodoria's Elite. He is a green humanoid fish-like alien and is the same alien race as Coconut and the Slug Soldiers. Like the other elites, Tanger goes to Planet Meat in order to kill Burdock's crew. With Dodoria's help, Tanger was able to destroy
Panbukin. When
Bardock arrived shortly afterwards, he grabbed Tanger in a headlock. Burdock then tricked
Commander Cado into firing at Tanger by using him as an alien shield, killing him.
