Tears for an Android! Gohan's Inner Rage Bursts Forth! (空に消えた涙! 悟飯、怒りの超覚醒, Sora ni Kieta Namida! Gohan, Ikari no Chou-Kakusei; lit. "The Tears that Disappeared into the Sky! The Angry Super Awakening of Gohan") is the ninety-second episode of Dragon Ball Z Kai. Its Japanese air date was February 6, 2011. Its American air date was December 19, 2011.
Unfortunately, Krillin reveals that while repairing Android 16, Bulma removed his bomb, which renders his intervention useless. Cell quickly breaks free of Android 16's hold, causing his body to shatter, leaving only his head intact. When Cell realizes his attempts at physical intimidation are failing, he devises a plan to attack the ones that are closest to Gohan by spawning seven offspring, the Cell Juniors. Gohan's reluctance reaches its limit, and Android 16 asks Mr. Satan to carry him over to Gohan to talk to him. Android 16 explains to Gohan what to fight for, and that it is okay to unleash his anger to save those that he loves. After hearing his words of encouragement, Cell tells Android 16 he plans on doing things "his way", and proceeds to step on Android 16's head, crushing it. Seeing this is ultimately the last straw for Gohan, who finally releases his rage and ascends to the Super Saiyan 2 level.
- The scene where Cell crushes Android 16's head is censored out.
