Legend says whoever gathers the seven magical "Dragon Balls" will be granted any one wish. Son Goku, a young boy from the mountains, first heard the legend from a city girl named Bulma. After many dangerous adventures with Bulma, Goku trained under the great martial artist Kame-Sen'nin and competed in the "Strongest Under the Heavens" fighting tournament. Afterwards, Goku resumed his quest for the Dragon Balls, only to find that a powerful enemy, the Red Ribbon Army, was also searching for them. To fight them, Goku climbed the Karin Tower and trained under the legendary Kame-Sen'nin…after which he was so tough to beat everyone at Red Ribbon Army HQ all by himself![1]
Volume introduction by Akira Toriyama[]
"My son is five months now, and he's very healthy and active. However, my cat (Koge), is not doing so well. I guess Koge feels he has a new rival. Before my son was born, Koge never wanted much attention from us, but now he's all over us. Koge goes out of his way to sleep on Sasuke's blanket, and when I'm holding Sasuke, Koge will try to cuddle or get me to pick him up. Can't we just get along"[1]
