"The Countdown to Battle Begins! Enter, The Ginyu Force!" (迫る超決戦！ ギニュー特戦隊只今参上ッ！ Semaru Chō-Kessen! Ginyū Tokusentai Tadaima Sanjō!, lit. "The Super Decisive Battle Draws Near! The Ginyu Special Squadron Has Arrived!") is the twenty-eighth overall episode in the Dragon Ball Z Kai series. This episode first aired in Japan on October 18, 2009. Vegeta threatens Gohan in order to get his wish
Krillin thinks that he and Gohan are far enough that Vegeta can not sense their energy, but Vegeta does sense them when they increase their flying speed. He goes after them, taking one of the Namekian Dragon Balls he collected with him. Krillin senses Vegeta heading their way and tells Gohan to go to Grand Elder Guru's place alone to get stronger while he will try to slow Vegeta.
Vegeta arrives and passes Krillin, sensing the power of someone strong close by. Thinking it is Goku, he tries to enter Guru's house, but he is stopped by Nail. Vegeta then finds out that the power he was sensing belonged to Gohan.
Dende exits the house after Gohan and tells the group outside that something bad is heading towards Namek. Vegeta knows that it is the Ginyu Force, an elite group of fighters called by Frieza to take care of Vegeta and retrieve the Dragon Balls. Vegeta decides to strike an uneasy alliance with Krillin and Gohan, and they start heading towards the other 5 Dragon Balls. Meanwhile, the Ginyu Force arrives in front of Frieza's Spaceship.
