The Eyes of Tenshinhan
The Tenka'ichi Budôkai is heating up, and there can only be one winner! Last tournament's champion Jackie Chun goes up against three-eyed "Crane School" kung fu master Tenshinhan! Then, it's the long-awaited match between former classmates Goku and Kuririn—and guess who has some tricks up his sleeve! But Tenshinhan isn't just fighting to win, he's carrying out a deadly grudge—to avenge his master, the Crane Hermit, whose brother was killed by Goku. It all comes down to a final round so devastating the battlefield itself might not survive intact—let alone the spectators![1]

Legend says whoever gathers the seven magical "Dragon Balls" will be granted any one wish. Son Goku, a young boy from the mountains, first heard the legend from a city girl named Bulma. After many adventures with Bulma, Goku decided he wanted to get stronger, and so he trained under Kame-Sen'nin, the great martial artist, even competing in the Tenka'ichi Budôkai (the "Strongest Under the Heavens" martial arts tournament). Now, three years later, its the new Tenka'ichi Budôkai…and Goku is stronger than ever! But so are his opponents, especially Chaozu and Tenshinhan, the students of Kame-Sen'nin's old rival! Now, Goku and Kuririn face a life-or-death match against Chaozu…[1]
Volume introduction by Akira Toriyama[]
"This is the first time I've put my photo in this section. This is photo of me with my son, Sasuke. I may seem like a "show-off" parent for including my son, but it does beat having to come up with something to draw for this page. Maybe I'll start doing this from now on. Let's see, next time maybe I'll use a photo of my cat Koge, or my dog Mato. Hmmm… I think I'm onto something here…"[1]
