Summary[]

While aboard Jaco's Spaceship, Omori and Jaco try to reach the Twinkle 8 to save Tights before the frozen time runs out and time resumes flowing naturally. Omori asks how they are going to save Tights and the falling rocket, but Jaco says he will figure it out when he gets there. They manage to reach East City and notice the falling Twinkle 8 rocket still frozen in the sky. While they proceed to fly toward the rocket, time begins to flow again just when they get close to it, which causes the rocket to fall down. Jaco quickly flies his spaceship again toward the rocket, positioning his spaceship by the side of the rocket and following the rocket while it continues to descend. Jaco notices a door in the Twinkle 8 rocket and Omori tells him it's the boarding hatch.

Jaco has an idea and thinks of a plan. He wants to jump on the falling rocket to save Tights, while having Omori to pilot his spaceship near the side of the rocket. Omori thinks that's crazy but Jaco reminds him that he has already taught him how to pilot his spaceship and tells him to hurry up as they don't have much time to save Tights, so Omori agrees. Jaco gives Omori one of his communicators and tells him to place it on his ear so they can be able to communicate with each other. After Omori opens the cockpit cover of Jaco's spaceship, Jaco comes out of his spaceship and latches onto its antenna so he can get a better view of the rocket's door. He pulls out his Ray Gun and shoots at the entrance door of the rocket, breaking it out and creating an opening on the rocket. Meanwhile from afar on Omori's Island, Katayude and his team are watching, through telescopes, the falling Twinkle 8 and notice that something has approached it, believing it may be Jaco and Omori.

Jaco then jumps inside the the rocket and reaches Tights and the captain of the rocket, Okawari. Tights is happy to see Jaco, knowing he would come for her rescue. Jaco manages to help Tights and the captain remove their belts and hoses, so he can help them get out of the rocket. He pulls them out and flies them toward his spaceship, where he puts them in the cockpit with Omori, before closing his spaceship's cockpit cover, bringing them to safety. While remaining outside on top of his spaceship, Jaco latches onto his spaceship's antenna and tells Omori to fly normally so they can leave. However, Tights informs Jaco that there is still a problem. The rocket is filled with fuel, and if it hits the ground, it will destroy East City below them. Jaco at first ignores the magnitude of the situation but decides to intervene to save the East City inhabitants, after enough persuasion. Jaco then falls and ricochets off a city building, jumping straight toward the rocket and kicking it toward a sea away from East City, using his Ray Gun to destroy and explode the rocket on top of the sea and keeping East City and its inhabitants away from harm. Katayude and his team still observe the Twinkle 8 from afar and are surprised that Jaco and Omori managed to prevent Twinkle 8 from crashing into the city and destroying it.

Jaco lands inside the city with a pose and soon after, Omori, Tights, and Captain Okawari arrive by Jaco, through his spaceship. Tights and Captain Okawari come out of Jaco's spaceship and immediately thank him for his heroic efforts in saving them from inside the rocket and the countless other people inside East City that could've been harmed by the rocket. In the city, two random kids notice Tights, who they confuse as An Azuki, and Captain Okawari, surprised that they are in the city and not in a rocket flying off to space as announced earlier. However, one of the kids takes a closer look at Tights and realizes she isn't An Azuki. They also see Jaco and recognize him as the "Masked Man" they saw on the news earlier. Angry with the nickname, Jaco retorts to the kids that that isn't his name, and his actual name is "The Mysterious Hero Super Elite", while doing his signature pose.

Soon after, flying on Jaco's spaceship, Jaco, Omori and Tights leave East City and return to Omori's Island where they meet Katayude and his team, who were waiting for them. Katayude welcomes them back and apologizes for his previous rudeness and trouble he caused them, in addition to thanking them for saving the people in East City. Katayude also inquires about the whereabouts of Captain Okawari as he is not with them, to which Omori replies that they had dropped him off in the city before they returned. Omori also returns to Jaco one of his communicators. Katayude then decides to leave the island with his team and offers Tights, who he thinks is An Azuki, to come with them so they can drop her home. However, Hijiki, a member of Katayude's team, notice that Tights isn't An Azuki, surprising Katayude. Omori explains to Katayude that she was used as a double for An Azuki, leading Katayude to know the truth behind the recent rocket launch. Katayude and his team prepare to to leave from the island and bids Jaco, Tights and Omori farewell. He also promises not to tell anyone that "Mr. Super Elite" is nothing more than a robot built by Omori, which surprises the three that he's under that impression. Jaco tries to correct him, but Omori and Tights, playing on with it, cover Jaco's mouth with their hands to prevent him from telling Katayude his true identity. He gives permission for Omori to continue living on the island, stating that he will not allow irresponsible government politicians use the island. Omori thanks Katayude and the latter asks if he can visit the island privately again someday, to which Omori willingly agrees. Katayude also agrees that he will have the government redraw the sketch of Jaco. After Katayude and his team leave, Jaco is upset that Katayude thinks he's a robot and calls him stupid.

Later, Jaco, Tights, and Omori return home, and in the evening, the three eat curry for dinner together, as they watch the news surrounding the prevention of the falling Twinkle 8 from destroying East City and its inhabitants. Tights reflects on the events on the news and wishes she at least got the opportunity to see Earth from space. Jaco agrees to take her up to space for a ride around Earth in his spaceship after dinner, but Tights initially doesn't accept the offer as Jaco has little Sky Gold in spaceship to use as fuel, prompting Jaco to reveal that the ride around Earth from outer space would be a very short distance and won't use up much of his fuel. Omori thinks looking around the Earth sounds fun and wants to also come along. Jaco refrains from using the Extinction Capsule, finding that there are good Earthlings. Also, in the news broadcast on TV, it is announced that all the charges against "Mask Man" by the government police have been dropped and his real name is "Mr. Super Elite". They also reveal a redrawn sketch of Jaco, despite his innocence being announced. This newer sketch, like the previous one, doesn't exactly look like Jaco, which upsets the Galactic Patrolman about the sketch, retorting that the sketch has barely even changed from the previous one.

The chapter ends with Jaco taking Tights and Omori on a tour around the Earth in outer space inside his spaceship. Omori promises to send the government police a new photo of him next time for a possible better resketch of him, but Jaco, still depressed about the newer bad sketch of him, angrily mutters to himself that all Earthlings must die.
