The Moment of Truth Approaches! Goku Back in Action! (The Moment We've Waited For! Son Goku Is Revived) is the forty-first episode in Dragon Ball Z Kai. The episode first aired in Japan on January 24, 2010. Its original American air date was November 3, 2010. Its Dragon Ball Z counterparts are "Dende's Demise" and "The Renewed Goku". The song "Saiyan Blood" plays when Vegeta is powering up and "Chou Super Dragon Soul" plays when Goku emerges from the rejuvenation chamber in this episode.

Goku completes his recovery
Vegeta uses his newly-found power and speed to save Gohan from Frieza's Death Beam. While Gohan is grateful, Vegeta tells him that he doesn't care about saving him, he only did it to demonstrate and test out his new powers, now that he has finally declared himself a Super Saiyan. While the Saiyan prince's power goes to unimaginable heights, Frieza dodges every single blast that Vegeta sends at the tyrant and deflects his most powerful attack. Frieza then declares that he was going to fight, and Vegeta, having lost the will to fight, is quickly defeated and overwhelmed. Frieda then taunts Vegeta, saying how he had always been gracious to Vegeta and given him special treatment, which is a complete lie. Gohan tries to intervene, but Piccolo stops him, saying that it would not do any good. Just then, Goku emerges from the Rejuvenation Tank inside Frieza's spaceship, finally healed and finding his power to be extraordinarily higher than before.
