  • So the more you scream and shout the stronger you get?

Goku has a brother but why doesn't he care about his dead brother?

Why doesn't Goku wish for the Saiyan race to come back?

In DBZ, the Cell Arc, when an android made Goku sick, did Goku have Saiyan cancer?

When Goku dies, it's just a gate way to more taining, so Goku constantly trains, even when dead.

    • Pretty much. The justification is powering up is tied to emotions, notably anger, and screaming helps bring out the anger.

Raditz was evil, so Goku disowned him. He no longer considers him a brother. Then I think Toriyama just forgot about Raditz altogether.

Goku never personally knew the Saiyan race so doesn't really care about them. He considers Earth's population to be his people. Also, most Saiyans were evil so if Goku did wish them back they'd probably have to fight and kill most of them anyway.

No, that was a heart virus. Goku contracted it sometime in space, most likely during or after the Frieza Saga.

Yep. Toriyama made it so that death is cheap and doesn't really matter. The only thing that really changes is where you live.

    • 1) Only on first transformations to a new form.

      2) Raditz proved to be almost psychopatically uncaring of his family's wishes and well-being, and when Goku tried to offer him mercy he sucker-punched him and tried to kill him, in fact leading to Goku's first death in the series. Not the kind of person you care for.

      3) Goku never identified with the Saiyan race until he turned Super Saiyan / Until Vegeta's speech on Namek, and even then only partially so. Also, Saiyans are savage, warmongering, petty and hard to control. ALSO, prior to retcons, I believe dragon balls had some time limitations on resurrecting people.

      3) It's spelled in your face he has a heart condition.

      4) As Stryzzar said.

    • goku doesn't want the saiyans to come back because he sees them dying as they got what they deserved, he even said "they paid their price" to frieza,

goku has experienced loss so much that even loosing his brother, especially one who tried to kill him and his son and who asked for mercy and went on being a dick, didn't bother him.

also that screaming thing isn't to generally get stronger, toriyama uses it as just some series regualr thing, and kind of as a trope.

goku had a heart virus, not disease a virus.

also wouldn't you like to get several times stronger while dead and come back from such death.

i've answered your questions and proven that raditz is utter twat fodder

    • For the fist one, i would like to note that hit pretends to power up in this way, and it doesnt work so the anime is atleast somewhat aware of how odd it is.

1.Goku forgave Raditz most likely, but the thing is, Toei/Toriyama forgot about him :( http://www.daizex.com/general/ask/archive/2003_12_20.shtml#11

In my Saiyan saga version, Goku is fond of Raditz (despite treating him to kill him if he talks bad about his son), to the point that Goku goes apes*** when Freeza killed Raditz

2.Becuase wishing back a bunch of hitlers is not a good idea

"Raditz was evil, so Goku disowned him. He no longer considers him a brother." - wait, if Goku couldn't forgave Raditz becuase he was evil, what about Vegeta? Who was the most evil saiyan of his time, and yet he changed?

"Not the kind of person you care for" - *cough* Vegeta *cough*

"ALSO, prior to retcons, I believe dragon balls had some time limitations on resurrecting people." - they have time limit on wishing back MANY people, i bet wishing back: Bardock, his team, Gine, Raditz and Nappa wouldn't be that much

I meant Grandpa Gohan was dead for 10 years, and Upa wanted to wish him back instead of Bora, i don't know where fans/Bandai get the idea that you must wish back people within a year

Heck if that was true, how come Goku went back to life?!

    • He didn't forgive Vegeta immediately, he just showed Vegeta mercy and he was lucky to have enough pularity that Toriyama let him live past the Saiyan Saga. Then Vegeta became "the devil they needed" to fight the bigger evils. Everyone disliked Vegeta but kept around anyway. Also with Goku it was to do with Vegeta being his rival and someone he could always train to be better than. Raditz was unlucky that Toriyama didn't care about him so he didn't live through Goku's mercy.

      I meant "eventually"

    • Well yeah, if Raditz was allowed to live as long as Vegeta did. Sure, Goku being Goku probably would forgive him. But he never got that privilege and will always be "evil older brother Goku doesn't give a crap about".

      ..................

      Didn't you read that article?

Also Goku thought Freeza could change, but he never did

    • Yes I know Toriyama forgot about him, but so did Goku. Raditz never appears or is mentioned again aside from one cameo in GT I think.
