Trunks vs. Goten, Part 2 (トランクス対孫悟天２, Torankusu Tai Son Goten Tsū; lit. "Trunks vs Son Goten 2") is the four hundred thirty-fourth chapter of the Dragon Ball manga.
The crowd is still going wild after the opening round between Trunks and Goten. The broadcasters are stunned that the greatest fight in the world is taking place, and there are no cameras to record it, thanks to Piccolo. The World Tournament Announcer is feeling the rush as well, knowing this is how the World Martial Arts Tournament should be.
Trunks is impressed by how much stronger Goten has gotten, and Goten says that Gohan's been teaching him. Trunks then asks if Goten can do this, and charges up a Buster Cannon. Gohan and Krillin are worried that he'll hit the crowd, but Goku reassures them that they're good enough to avoid that. Trunks fires the Buster Cannon, which Goten jumps over. Trunks then swings his arms up, causing the blast to fire harmlessly into the air. Goten shows off that he's learned how to use Ki too, and charges up a Kamekameha. Trunks corrects him by saying it's Kamehameha, but Goten fires anyway. Trunks avoids it, but Goten can't quite control the blast completely and ends up clipping the roof of the Tournament building.
Trunks and Goten agree to stop using Ki Blasts, then go back to fighting. Trunks flings Goten into the air, but Goten catches himself in mid-air. Trunks suddenly appears behind him and locks him in a Full-Nelson. Goten struggles to escape, but can't overpower Trunks to break free. In desperation, Goten transforms into a Super Saiyan and breaks Trunks' hold. Trunks calls Goten a cheater because they promised not to go Super Saiyan.
Gohan is aggravated at Goten for that stunt, Goku is stunned that Goten can go Super Saiyan, and Vegeta is yelling at Goku for his son's "cheap shot." Hercule, watching this, realizes that Goten is the son of the guy at the Cell Games, and wonders how many of them there are.
