The Ultimate Final Strategy is Mercenary Tao's Ultimate Blast in the Budokai Tenkaichi series. First, Tao throws his pillar at the opponent and transports onto the pillar. However, the opponent responses by kicking Tao off the pillar and onto the ground. Then, he begs for mercy by saying, "Please forgive me!", making the opponent walk away. Finally, while the opponent is caught off-guard, Tao pulls out a grenade and throws it at the opponent, exploding in front of the opponent and inflicting a great amount of damage.
Mercenary Tao attempted to use this attack to kill Goku during the battle. When Goku's strength proves too much for Tao, Tao begs for mercy. Goku accepts, but with his guard down, Tao throws a grenade at the young Saiyan and jumps in the air to avoid being caught in the explosion. At the last second, however, Goku kicks the grenade up to Tao, where he is seemingly killed in the blast. However, it is later revealed that Tao survived and is rebuilt as "Cyborg Tao."
