The Ultimate Kamehameha (究極の亀破波, Saiko no Kamehameha) is a golden-yellow colored version of the Kamehameha used by Ultimate Gohan during his battle against Super Buu, who had absorbed Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks and Piccolo. To perform it, Gohan fires a Kamehameha, but when he is in his ultimate form, his Kamehameha becomes so powerful, it changes from its ordinary whitish-blue color to a golden-yellow color, inflicting a powerful amount of damage. The attack's name is most likely based off of the name of Gohan's ultimate form.
Ultimate Gohan used the attack in a beam struggle against Super Buu's Vanishing Beam. However, the energy waves were evenly matched and neither attack was able to gain the upper hand. When both fighters charged more power into their attacks, the energy struggle grew bigger until it finally ended with a huge explosion.
The attack is seen in the Budokai Tenkaichi series, where it is blue-colored and one of Ultimate Gohan's Blast 2 attacks, under the name, "Super Kamehameha." The attack also appeared in Dragon Ball GT: Final Bout as one of Gohan's attacks. In this game, its color is golden-yellow, the same color in the anime.
Goku and Vegito are seen using similar golden colored Kamehamehas. During his battle against Majin Buu, Goku, in his Super Saiyan 3 form, uses a golden-yellow Kamehameha against Majin Buu, though the monster catches the attack and squeezes it until it vanishes.
Vegito later uses a golden-yellow Kamehameha in his Super Saiyan form against Super Buu w/ Gohan. However, the monster is able to regenerate, though with much difficulty due to the massive damage he had received from it.
