"I am fusion warrior Vegeks, here to demonstrate true Saiyan pride!"
Xeno Vegeks introducing himself in World Mission

Xeno Vegeks (ベジークス:ゼノ Bejīkusu: Zeno) is the Potara Fusion of Xeno Vegeta and Xeno Trunks.

Appearance[]

Xeno Vegeks's hair is similar to Gotenks', as he possesses Trunks' lilac hair on the sides of the head, but it differs in style, being wide-opened and having two long bangs. Xeno Vegeks adopts Xeno Vegeta's Time Patrol Battle Armor along with the lower part of Xeno Trunks coat. He also wears green Potara earrings.

Personality[]

As a fusion of Xeno Trunks and Xeno Vegeta, Xeno Vegeks possesses a combination of their personality traits. He retains Xeno Trunks' seriousness, Xeno Vegeta's arrogance and pride and both of their battle-ready attitudes. In World Mission, his confidence is very apparent, as he states he is more than capable of taking on the likes of Xeno Janemba, and afterwards is confident he can handle the deranged Legendary Super Saiyan Broly just moments before defusing.

Because Xeno Vegeta was unconscious during a fusion with Xeno Trunks in the manga, Xeno Vegeks' resulting personality more closely matched that of Xeno Trunks'.

Biography[]

Super Dragon Ball Heroes[]

Dark Empire Saga[]

Main article: Dark Empire Saga In the game, Xeno Vegeta is summoned by Chronoa during the first battle with Demon God Towa to assist Xeno Trunks, Chronoa gives both of them a Potara Earring each, allowing them to fuse into Xeno Vegeks to battle the Demon God. They are shown to be defused later on however due to the fact the Potara earrings are only permanent when one or both of the fusees are a Supreme Kai.

Xeno Vegeks attacks Gravy

In the manga, Xeno Vegeta and Xeno Trunks head into Age 767 during the events of the Cell Games. Whilst there the Demon God Gravy appears and hits Xeno Vegeta with a surprise attack to send him flying. Xeno Trunks catches him but they are still hurled into the mountain. Xeno Trunks recognizing Gravy's strength uses the Potara earrings given to him by Chronoa and fuses with his father to form Xeno Vegeks. Heading back into battle he effortlessly gains the upperhand over Gravy. He is taken surprise when Xeno Cell transforms into the immense Cell-X due to Putine's magic. Xeno Vegeks and Gravy attempt to fight once again but they are constantly distracted by Cell-X. The two briefly put their differences aside and combine energy attacks to finish off Xeno Cell but the fusion ends and Xeno Vegeks become Xeno Vegeta and Xeno Trunks once more.

Other Dragon Ball stories[]

World Mission[]

In Chapter 3, Sub Chapter 4: "Legendary Super Saiyan Awakened!", after Xeno Janemba (Super Janemba/Dark Dragon Ball) is unfazed by Super Saiyan 3 Xeno Goku, SSJ3 Xeno Vegeta, Great Saiyaman 4, and the rest of the DBH team's attacks, Xeno Goku remembers the Potara earrings that Chronoa had given him before the mission and suggests to Xeno Vegeta that they fuse into Xeno Vegito. However Xeno Vegeta says he prefers death over fusing with Xeno Goku, though after Xeno Goku points out they will die, Xeno Vegeta agrees to fuse but with Xeno Trunks instead (as he considers it more dignified to fuse with his son than Xeno Goku). Before fusing, Xeno Vegeta reveals it is the first time they've performed Potara fusion and insists it will be the first and final time they do so. Xeno Trunks (Base) then fuses with Xeno Vegeta (SSJ3) resulting in Xeno Vegeks (Super Saiyan).

Xeno Vegeks introduces himself as the "fusion warrior Vegeks" and announces he is there to demonstrate "true Saiyan pride". As Beat, Note, and Zen standby in awe of Xeno Vegeks, he tells Xeno Janemba there won't be an atom of him left when he is finished with him.

"You messed with the wrong Saiyan. Too bad."
— Xeno Vegeks after defeating Xeno Janemba in World Mission

True to his word, Xeno Vegeks makes quick work of Xeno Janemba, with Zen describing the battle as Xeno Vegeks giving Xeno Janemba the boot almost instantly.

Power[]

Manga

Base Xeno Vegeks is able to easily defeat Demon God Gravy on his first confrontation who in turn had managed to knock out Base Xeno Vegeta in a single blow. The two fight on more even grounds the second time they clash when Gravy is more composed. He also destroyed Cell-X when he combined blasts with Gravy.

Zen comments on Xeno Vegeks battle with Xeno Janemba in World Mission

In World Mission, Super Saiyan Xeno Vegeks is stronger than Xeno Super Janemba (fused w/ Dark Dragon Ball) as he is able to completely destroy Xeno Janemba almost instantly according to Zen. However due to Xeno Trunks having not yet fully recovered (and/or possibly due to Base Xeno Trunks fusing with SSJ3 Xeno Vegeta) his fusion time is shortened causing him to defuse as he is preparing to face off against Legendary Super Saiyan Broly. Before defusing, SSJ Xeno Vegeks was confident he could handle Broly in his Legendary Super Saiyan form.

Techniques and Special Abilities[]

  • Flight – The ability to fly with the use of ki.
  • Ki Blast – The most basic form of energy wave.
  • Burning Impact - A merge of techniques between Xeno Trunks' Burning Attack and Xeno Vegeta's Dirty Fireworks.
  • Galick Gun - Xeno Vegeks curls his fingers and places both his hands together at chest level facing the same direction (so that the palm of one hand is on the back of the other). Then, once enough ki is gathered, he thrusts both hands forward to fire a powerful blast of energy. The result is a powerful, huge, fuchsia-colored ki beam that emanates from his hands and body. It is capable of destroying large planets if enough power is put into it.
    • Xeno Super Warrior Unit - Xeno Vegeks Super Unit Attack with SH2-49 Xeno Goku (SSJ3) and Xeno Gohan. During their Attack Phase, SSJ3 Xeno Goku powers up frightening the opponent as Xeno Vegeks and Xeno Gohan appear alongside Xeno Goku with Xeno Goku and Xeno Gohan charging their Kamehamehas, while Xeno Vegeks charges an unnamed variation of the Galick Gun (same fiery golden color as Xeno Goku and Xeno Gohan's Kamehamehas). The three Time Patrollers then combine their techniques to produce a powerful variation of the Galick Kamehameha which hits the opponent resulting in an automatic KO.

Trivia[]

  • Despite Xeno Trunks clearly wearing his sword prior to the Potara fusion, Xeno Vegeks does not have the weapon.
    • Because of this, Xeno Vegeks is the first fusion involving Future Trunks not to have the blade.
  • Xeno Vegeks is the first quarter-Earthling character to be introduced in the Dragon Ball media; which is a reverse of Pan (who is a quarter-Saiyan). He is also the first successful Potara fusion of a father and son, as Goku and Gohan's attempt to perform Potara fusion during the battle with Super Buu failed.
    • However, the first unfused quarter-Earthling character is the female 3/4 Saiyan-1/4 Earthling hybrid Shalot from Dragon Ball Fusions.
