The residents of Zalador's village are terrorized by a "monster," and their only source of help is the priest's preaching, Maloja.
When Goten, Trunks, and Videl arrive at Natade Village, Zalador tells them about the monster and Maloja's human sacrifices, calling him the "Village Idiot". The trio decide to save his village and defeat the monster, a dinosaur, in exchange for Maloja's necklace.
